100 Day Color Wheel

The 100th day of school is next Monday.  For Melia's 100 day project, we made this...
100 Crayons...how pretty is that?!

Just another
Photobucket
project! :)

  2. Hello, can you please tell me how you made this? My five year old has picked this as his big "prize" on his rewards chart and he wants it EXACTLY like this one! Thanks so much. - Stephanie

    1. Absolutely! I bought one of those green foam wreath rings and a LARGE box of crayons. We hot glued ribbon around the sides just to make it prettier and then lined all our crayons up in ROY G BIV order, then just pressed them into the wreath. You could definitely glue the crayons onto the wreath, but we wanted to be able to pull them out and use them later. :) Hope that helps! :)

    2. Hi Jen, thank you so much! I found the foam wreaths and bought the crayons. Do you happen to have a picture of your project that isn't cropped on the sides? My son is autistic and he likes to recreate the art projects he likes exactly as shown - he has every crayon color memorized by sight, it's pretty amazing...but the "missing information" on the sides threw him into a meltdown, so we had to shelve the project for the night. Weird request, I know...the things we do for love! :) Thanks for all your help. :)

    3. I looked back in my pictures and have three different pictures of it (this one and two others). Not sure if either of the other two would help, but I'd be happy to send them and have you try! I totally get it...I am on an autistic team at my school and work with several students who have autism. :) If you'll let me know your E-mail address, I'd be happy to send you the pictures! :)
